Temasek Foundation’s Stay Prepared initiative helps communities prepare for and respond to emergencies such as disease outbreaks. Under this initiative, we created the Stay Prepared Exchange, to serve as an online booking platform for medical and PPE items. Stay Prepared Exchange will enable various accredited organisations to procure stock that has already been sourced in bulk from our partners and suppliers around the world.

Due to the nature of these medical supplies which are sold in bulk or may require regulatory approval, the Stay Prepared Exchange platform is currently only open to accredited partners. Organisations will need to show that they are assisting their communities in the fight against COVID-19, or that the supply of items will benefit the community fighting COVID-19.

As part of our policy, there should only be one account per organisation.

The items on Stay Prepared Exchange have been sourced or procured globally from licensed medical suppliers and distributors, with HSA approval where applicable.

Generally, items purchased on Stay Prepared Exchange are provided on an “as-is” basis without any warranty.

However, where specific items are covered by warranties provided by the manufacturer or supplier, these warranties will be extended to partners where relevant. The details of such warranties are provided in the item description. All claims on such warranties shall be made directly with the respective manufacturer or supplier of the product.

Items on Stay Prepared Exchange are offered to accredited partners at general market prices, with discounts where applicable.

The list price is inclusive of GST or other sales tax payable (unless otherwise specified) and exclusive of delivery and/or handling fees, which are estimated after the booking is approved.

  

Items may not be restocked once sold out. Available incoming stock will be shown on the product description page.

Items on Stay Prepared Exchange should be purchased for direct use and must not be resold without the express approval of the seller.

Items purchased through Stay Prepared Exchange are not eligible for exchange, unless otherwise specified in the product description.

To place a booking, add items to your cart and specify the requested quantity for each item. When ready, proceed to checkout your cart, and confirm your request and delivery details.

This step amounts to a booking that is subject to our approval and is not a confirmed order. If the booking is approved, you will receive an email with the estimated delivery and handling fees (where applicable), typically within 3 working days of placing your booking.

In some cases, your requested booking quantity may be subject to downward revisions due to changes in available supply, and you will be informed of the revised quantities for your acceptance or rejection.

Yes, there is a minimum amount of S$2,000 to place bookings.

After your booking is approved, you will receive an email with the details of your order, including the order sales price, and estimated delivery and handling fees (where applicable).

If you opted for self-collection, this email confirms your order and it will be prepared for collection.

If you opted for delivery, you have 24 hours to review the estimated delivery fees and confirm your acceptance. You may choose to change your shipping option and opt for self-collection instead. Please note that handling fees may still apply for self-collection.

If you do not do so within the 24 hours, you will be deemed to have confirmed the order and delivery, and shall be bound by this. 

The final invoice comprising the order sales price, and actual delivery and/or handling fees, will be sent to you for payment within the stipulated credit terms.

We accept only bank transfers. All bank charges shall be borne by the remitting party/payer.

All payments are to be made in Singapore Dollars.

Credit terms for each partner organisation are stipulated in your accreditation email. A late payment charge of 1% per month is chargeable on overdue payment.

After your booking is placed, no changes or cancellations are allowed.

Only in cases where your requested booking quantity is revised due to changes in available supply, you will be informed of the revised quantities for your acceptance or rejection.

If you had opted for delivery, you may change the shipping method to self-collection within 24 hours of receiving the email with the estimated delivery fees. If this is not done within the 24 hours, you will be deemed to have confirmed the order and delivery, and shall be bound by this.

Purchases may not be returned, refunded or replaced, unless otherwise specified in the product description.

All bookings on Stay Prepared Exchange are confidential. No payment information is collected on the platform. 

Any personal information collected upon registration is only used to fulfil orders and to communicate with you. Please refer to our Privacy and Data Protection Policy for more details

You may opt for local delivery or self-collection to receive your purchase.

The estimated delivery and handling fees (where applicable) will be provided in an email for your acceptance. The fees indicated are generated by our third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to cover the cost of packing, delivery and handling of the items.

The actual delivery fees may vary from the initial estimate. Additional costs could be incurred during the delivery process due to unforeseen or undisclosed conditions at the delivery location. The actual costs will be included in the final invoice for payment.

We aim for delivery by the 3PL or self-collection to be ready within 14 days after the booking is confirmed. This is an estimate and may vary depending on the order and delivery conditions.

We currently only offer local delivery or self-collection in Singapore.

There is no restriction in terms of delivery locations within Singapore.

Each booking may only accommodate one delivery address. If there are multiple delivery locations required, please place separate bookings for each location.

Our third-party logistics providers may contact you prior to providing delivery cost estimates to understand the site conditions (e.g. if use of pallet-jack is allowed at the premises) in order to appropriately plan for the delivery. This may lead to longer processing time on such orders. In some cases, onsite inspection may be required and will be arranged by the third-party logistics providers.

When the booking is ready for self-collection, our third-party logistics provider will contact you separately with the details for self-collection.

Should you miss your delivery, you may liaise with the third-party logistics provider arranging your delivery for another delivery slot. The costs associated with the missed delivery will be charged to you in addition to the delivery and handling costs for the rescheduled delivery. This will be reflected in the final invoice to be issued to you.

Our third-party logistics providers will contact you with the delivery/self-collection details. Please inform them directly if you would like to request a change to the assigned delivery/self-collection slot.
